Being a parent can be the best job in the world but it can also be a real challenge at times.  Asking for help when these challenges get too tough can be really difficult.  It may be the first step towards a commitment to try something different in order to help your child, yourself and your family.  When you take that step you want to know that you and your child will feel comfortable and safe, listened to and cared for by the person helping you.  You will want to know that this person has the skills and knowledge required to help your child.
